Oak Hill | MEHC Says YES

This project will create 250 units — but will be split into two housing communities. 135 apartments will be allocated for teachers and staff of local school districts and county employees and the other 115 apartments will be developed for lower-income families. Eden Housing will develop the affordble units, which will be set for affordability at the 60% of Area Median Income. Education Housing Partners (EHP) will develop the teacher/workforce housing. The land is owned by the State, and so the entitlements and building permits are issued by the State, not the County. The project has received its entitlements, and the County is working on some road access issues. Both portions of the project currently have a funding gap. This funding gap must be addressed before the projects can proceed.
