A Preliminary Application has been submitted for an Assisted Living/Memory Care facility. The building would include four levels above a basement (parking garage and storage), with a height that would appear to be less than 45 feet above grade. The building would contain approximately 103,485 square feet of floor area, consisting of 72 total units, a central kitchen facility, common areas (foyer, parlor, bistro, private dining room, general dining rooms, activity rooms, theater, spa and staff rooms), loading docks for deliveries, and internal trash storage. The main components of the project include:

• 46 memory care rooms (without any cooking facilities);
• 71 assisted living units with kitchens to allow independent living, including 28 studios, 35 one-bedrooms, and 8 two bedrooms;
• 59 parking spaces; and
• Common dining room and activity areas would be provided onsite.

The entire facility would be licensed and operated as a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE). The licensing includes special requirements related to care and service requirements as well as the physical plant. Read more about this project here.
