MEHC Urges Belvedere Planning Commission to Support Mallard Pointe

MEHC advocated in support for the Mallard Pointe project ahead of the March 19, 2024 Belvedere Planning Commission meeting. You can read the official letter of support sent to the Belvedere Planning Commission members here:

Subject: Letter of Support for Mallard Pointe

Dear Planning Commissioners,

I am writing to express the Marin Environmental Housing Collaborative’s strong support for the Mallard Pointe housing project, and urge you to approve the Demolition, Design Review, Tentative Subdivision Map, and Revocable License to move the project forward.

By approving this project, the City will make forward progress towards reaching the development of 160 units of new housing required by the RHNA, including – and most importantly — its affordable component, which we fully support. Mallard Pointe will bring much needed housing to the City of Belvedere, and we urge your support.
